Thanks to the help of Red Bull Amaphiko and Wings of Angelz I recently not only had the opportunity to be and work in Dubai for a couple of days, but also was able to meet and share great moments with some lovely people.
So while “Wings of Angelz” is a social initiative that aims to make the world more wheelchair accessible, I still feel glad that they opened up a whole new way of experiencing Dubai for me. Not only did we produce some lovely video and photo series about the work of their volunteers, but also shared some great experiences together. From camping in the desert on my first day of arrival, playing human “foosball” with people from all over the world, doing interviews and further filming on some lovely spots all around Dubai, to finally also give Ski Dubai a try (which is still quite crazy if you think about the whole energy that is spend into realizing snow conditions in the middle of the desert):
Quite a crazy start into our one-year-around-the-world adventure if you ask me! So to sum things up, I will make a further follow up with some photos during the next couple of days on our Instagram account.
Till then, I am already looking forward to all upcoming adventures and experiences in Cape Town!
